Patrol Division

The Uniform Patrol Division is the backbone of the law enforcement efforts of the Chowan County Sheriff’s Office. This division patrols the county to include residential and business areas. All deputies work closely with other emergency personnel in Chowan County.  The many and varied responsibilities associated with the patrol division include, but are not limited to:

• Answering Calls for Service
• Criminal Investigations
• Criminal Process Service
• Transporting Inmates
• Court Security
